Taste of Yountville
Here are my favorite tasting rooms in the heart of Yountville that you will want to discover during your next trip to Napa Valley!
For many people on their initial drive up Highway 29 in Napa Valley, Yountville is the first town that makes them feel like they’re in the heart of wine country. With Michelin-star restaurants and luxury hotels, it’s hard to imagine how quaint this town is until you experience it for yourself. Even more fabulous is the fact that you can walk to your tastings!
It’s one of my favorite places to schedule a wine tasting in the afternoon, then head off for a stroll around town before dinner. Take it from the gal who used to call Yountville home, it’s worth checking out these tasting rooms!
Heron House for ultra small-production wines in a beautifully curated tasting room and retail space. The wines are the stars here but save some time for a little retail therapy.
Silver Trident for their Potato Chip Extravaganza tasting from the comforts of the Ralph Lauren home furnishings that decorate the space.
Handwritten Wines for their Classic Experience featuring a comparative tasting of their Cabernet Sauvignons from different appellations in Napa Valley
Hestan Vineyards for their delicious wines made by renowned winemakers Thomas Rivers Brown and Jeff Gafner, all tasted alongside the innovative Hestan cookware collections.
Stewart Cellars for the Nomad Beckstoffer Cabernet Sauvignon tasting. Held in their exclusive library where guests taste wines side by side from 6 single Beckstoffer vineyards.
RH Wine Vault for their Vintner Spotlight tastings. Held in their gorgeous space, they invite vintners in for one-of-a-kind intimate tastings. If you love meeting the people behind the label, it’s worth checking out their lineup. Next up is Relic Wine Cellars on November 18th and Corison Winery on December 9th!
Next up, let’s head north to St. Helena for a little wine tasting to go along with all of the retail therapy Main Street offers!
